You will have to go through total 46 steps to complete making an origami frog. The most important technique that you will learn from this origami frog is "inside reverse-fold" which will be applied repeatedly many times.
This origami frog starts with both horizontal and vertical gate-folds. Then make 8 x 8 square cells by applying multiple valley and mountain-folds. It takes 20 steps to complete. You can actually make it jump.
Traditionally this origami jumping frog is known to be as a Chinese version of origami jumping frog. Here I use a typical origami paper to fold this model, but it would be better to use a little thicker paper if you want to make the frog to jump. One special folding technique involved with this model is squash-fold.
