This page is for those who want the instructions to fold an origami heart called 3D Origami Heart.

This origami heart is 3D version of origami heart. It is a little difficult to fold compare to 2D origami heart. Since it is a 3D model, you could put something inside this origami heart.

Let's get started.

 

You may use any kind of paper to fold this origami rose. Here I am using a paper with the same color and texture for both front and back sides. But you can use different color and/or texture.

This is the front side of paper.

3D origami paper heart: back side of paper

00B.

This is the back side of paper which is the same color as the front side.

Paper Heart



When I was younger and angry with myself,
I did this thing, this Stupid thing -
I tore up my paper heart,
gave a piece to everyone I loved,
brothers,
sons,
lovers,
friends
They were always boys;
I hated girls as I hated myself
And now as we have grown
these man-boys glance at the crumpled
IOUs
signed with my love
they crammed in their pockets so long ago
they look at them and see trash -
- it's just a scrap
after all -
And in their haste
to fill their pockets anew they
(overlook)
mine as it floats to the ground,
buoyed by the air
and lands like a leaf to be
Trampled
underfoot.

no.
no. they're not scraps. not rinds. not to me.
