This page is for those who want the instruction to fold a 2D origami lamp.

This origami lamp is 2D version but you can let it stand on the ground. You will need to apply a set of crease pattern to make this model.

If you are ready, then let's get started.

If you find any bugs on this instruction, please send an email to HyoAhn's email.

You may use any kind of paper to fold this origami lamp. Make sure the paper that you use is a square (all sides are equal and all the angles equal 90 degrees). The paper I am using here is a 15cm x 15cm square paper.

The Lamp

If I can bear your love like a lamp before me,
When I go down the long steep Road of Darkness,
I shall not fear the everlasting shadows,
Nor cry in terror.

If I can find out God, then I shall find Him,
If none can find Him, then I shall sleep soundly,
Knowing how well on earth your love sufficed me,
A lamp in darkness.

Poem by Sara Teasdale
